OKEY ONYEKANMA LL.B, UNN; BL

In 1999, Okey Onyekanma graduated as one of the best students with a
Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He was
called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000 where he won academic prizes for that
year at the Nigerian Law School. On graduation, Okey Onyekanm joined
the international consulting firm, PricewaterhouseCoopers as an assistant
legal consultant. He later joined Giwa-Osagie & Co. as head of chambers, a
Lagos based law firm before joining our office this year as a partner in
CCP. Okey Onyekanma has authored several Articles in international Law
journals.    

Some of his writings include:
•        Corporation Foreign Investment in Nigeria: Issues Arising
•        Shareholders rights in a corporate environment
•        The Regulation of Foreign Investment in Nigeria  

He is a member of the International Bar Association and the Nigerian Bar
Association.

Nigerian Law School 1991; Third Over-all best student at the Nigerian
Law School, 1991; Awarded the “International Federation of Female
Lawyers” prize for academic distinction at the Nigerian Law School.
Awarded the “British Chevening Scholarship” to pursue a post graduate
law degree. Subsequently held the fellowship at the King’s College School
of Law, University of London.

ANIATE AKPAN LL.B, B.L

He studied at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Admitted to the
Nigerian Bar in 1988. He worked with the Hallmanns, solicitors until he
was appointed a consultant with Shell Nigeria Petroleum Company, A
position he held until his recent election into the National Assembly of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria.
